No. The risk of passing infection to the unborn or nursing child is too high. We recommend waiting until at least three months after birth before getting tattooed.

We cannot tattoo over moles due to health regulations. Birthmarks and scars can sometimes be tattooed, but it depends on severity. Please book a consultation for advice.

Yes! We have vinyl and non-latex gloves available. Please inform your artist at booking.

No. It is illegal to tattoo anyone under the age of 18 in the UK, even with parental consent.

Yes. We may ask for ID if you appear under 25. A passport or driving licence are both accepted forms.

Yes! We are a 15-minute walk from the train station (connections to Oxford, Birmingham, and London) and a 5-minute walk from bus routes to Aylesbury and Oxford.

We share space with a café, farm shop, sports bar, and other independent businesses.

You’re welcome to bring food and drink, but hot or smelly foods must be eaten outside. Smoking and vaping are allowed only in our designated outdoor areas.

Yes, we provide screens for privacy. You're welcome to visit the studio beforehand if you have concerns.

Yes, our studio and toilets are fully wheelchair accessible, all on the ground floor.

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available via the BT Guest network.

Simple pieces are usually priced individually. Larger pieces requiring multiple sessions may be charged at an hourly or day rate.

It varies depending on arm size, style, and the artist you choose. Please gather as much detail as possible, and we’ll happily advise.

Most artists accept PayPal and cash. Some also accept bank transfers and card payments. Please confirm payment methods directly with your artist before your appointment.

Yes! Gift vouchers can be made up for any amount and purchased in the studio.

Receipts can be provided on request, but we cannot provide VAT receipts.

No, unfortunately we do not offer discounts at this time.

Deposits secure your booking and are deducted from your final payment. For multi-session tattoos, the deposit rolls over to the last appointment. Please see our Terms & Conditions for full details.

No problem — as long as you give at least 72 hours’ notice. If less notice is given, your deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required for rescheduling.

Yes! Touch-ups, cover-ups, and reworks are available. For best results, liaise with your original artist or consult us for advice.

We can, but it depends on the existing tattoo and our relationship with the original studio. Please send us clear photos to assess.

Yes, we stock Whitfields aftercare products, specially designed for tattoo healing.

Some artists allow it, but you must provide your own cream, carry out a patch test, and apply it yourself on the day. Please confirm with your artist first.

Yes! We can sometimes tattoo your design exactly (for example, a child's illustration) or create a custom piece inspired by it.

No, we do not currently offer these services. For laser removal, we recommend Woody’s in High Wycombe.

We currently have no apprentice spaces available, but we are always happy to review portfolios. Feel free to email us with your interest and examples of your artwork.

Good tattoos are not cheap, and cheap tattoos are not good. We prioritise quality and hygiene. However, we are happy to advise on cover-ups and reworks if needed.

We prefer clients to come alone, but if necessary, you may bring a chaperone. They must stay in the waiting area during the tattoo session. If you have specific needs (e.g., medical), please let us know — we’ll always accommodate where possible.
